The Frigidaire iQ Drive® Complete-Comfort System is quite simply the smartest comfort system available. It does more than just provide the highest efficiency levels available today: it sets the standard with achievements up to 23 SEER. With this system, you get more than just energy savings. The iQ Drive provides consistent comfort levels throughout your home by reducing your indoor humidity when you need it most.

 

The iQ Drive Comfort Systems are complete indoor and outdoor sections that are available in two whole-home applications:

 

  • The iQ Drive Air Conditioner or Heat Pump and Air Handler System, designed for regions that utilize the cooling system almost year-round.
  • The iQ Drive Air Conditioner or Heat Pump and Furnace-Coil System, designed for regions that utilize gas heating during the winter months.

 

The Frigidaire iQ Drive Ultra Efficiency Complete - Comfort System consists of these great features:

 

  • Set the dehumidification between 35% and 70% and the iQ Drive System will remove the humidity from your home and keep it at the desired level.
  • If you need to add humidity into your home, then you can also control the whole-home humidifier through this same thermostat.
  • Simply set the thermostat to remind you when to change your indoor air filter. Whether it is a basic filter, or one of the Frigidaire whole-home indoor air cleaner products, proper maintenance is beneficial to reducing dust, airborne allergens and more. The iQ Drive system works with all Frigidaire air quality products.
  • Automatically increase or decrease temperature for the times you need the most comfort. Program a seven-day schedule or five-day schedule, with the remaining two days on a separate routine for when you’re at home. And when you go out of town, you can set a separate vacation schedule.

 

Annual operating costs based on 36,000 BTU unit, 1500 cooling load hours, and .08/kwh. Actual costs may vary depending on climate conditions, energy rates and patterns of usage.

 

 

iQ Drive utilizes inverter rotary technology to achieve the highest efficiency level available today. Today’s compressors kick on at full speed to compensate for a small change in temperature, but iQ Drive inverter technology alters the compressor speed just enough to match the slightest change in air temperature. So in addition to minimal power utilization, you get a more consistent temperature level at all times.
